Bio

Andrew Kmiec is a writer, editor and marketing executive based in Los Angeles. He began his career working for world renowned filmmakers Alejandro G. Iñarritu and Mark Romanek and went on to edit the groundbreaking MMA independent South American film One More Round starring UFC legends Royce Gracie and Fernando Soluço.

 

As a creative with a diversified skill set, Andrew optioned his drama series Midwestern to the Weinstein Company in 2015 and most recently edited the 2022 feature The Resurrection of Charles Manson starring Frank Grillo, Katherine Hughes and Will Peltz. Over the years, he has pitched for many A-List projects at major studios and provided consultation on several films, including A Violent Separation starring Alycia Debnam-Carey, Brenton Thwaites and Claire Holt, in 2019.

 

As a marketing executive, he worked for tech-wellness CPG brand SmartyPants and served as a key creative on the marketing team that led to the brand’s acquisition to Unilever in 2020. He has served on the leadership team in several other high-growth wellness startups since then, producing innovative creative campaigns and managing teams, budgets and strategies that have produced multi-million dollar results in competitive retail environments, while continuing to pursue his passion of writing and filmmaking.
